The owner of this Jamaican rum brand, Chris Blackwell, is indeed a James Bond film buff. In fact, he lives on Ian Fleming's "Golden Eye" estate (built in Jamaica in 1946, bought in 1976 by Bob Marley, then by the Blackwell family).
