Don Q Gran Añejo is a blend of rums, some of which are between 6 and 12 years old, and some of which have been aged in solera for 50 years. Aging was carried out in French oak barrels.

Its color is golden.
The nose is woody, dominated by oak, and relatively greedy. Aromas of vanilla and honey appear, while a slight vegetal note makes its way into the background. Discreet notes of nuts complete the aromatic profile.
En bouche, c’est sec et à nouveau bien boisé. Nous avons les arômes classiques d’un « ron », avec la vanille et le caramel. Cette bouche est plus simple que le nez et offre moins de choses, même si une discrète impression torréfiée fait un bref passage.
The finish is rather long and dry. Oak dominates once again, accompanied by vanilla.
