This rum from Barbados, and more specifically from Foursquare, has been selected and bottled by the Ricci Family for the 2023 edition of its "Exception" collection.
This is no exception to the tradition of Foursquare bottlings. It's a blend of column-distilled molasses rums and pot-still rums from the same vintage, in this case 2005.
Aged in ex-bourbon American oak barrels, then in a new French oak barrel.
In this collection, the Ricci Family has accustomed us to bottlings with no additions, and this one stays true to that rule. It has not been reduced, and is therefore brut de fût. Only 167 numbered copies have been bottled.
