Like all the rums from this venerable house, this Hampden has been pot still distilled. But not all have aged for 35 years!
Much of the ageing took place on site, and some in Scotland, where the cask was held by a broker for a long time.
Distilled in 1983 andcask strengthbottled in 2019 by Edition Spirits in Glasgow under the Kill Devil brand, this rum has retained all its aromatic power.
Only 198 bottles were made from this unique barrel.
