Lemon Hart Original Premium Demerara Rum est la version réduite à 40° du fameux « 151 » (donc à 75,5°) légendaire pour réaliser les cocktails Tiki.
Il s’agit d’un rhum traditionnel distillé chez Diamond Distillery et vieilli 3-4 ans.
This rum can be drunk neat, but also goes particularly well with cola.
Nico's tasting notes
The nose is reminiscent of a heavily toasted oak barrel, from which aromas of nuts of all kinds emerge. These nuts are strongly roasted, and blend perfectly with the notes of coffee grounds that take hold at the same time.
Aeration does nothing to change this roasted and even resolutely burnt ambience, bringing nuances of baked sugar and well-scorched caramel. A few roasted spices are also present, alongside dark, almost licorice-like molasses.
On the palate, a succession of roasted and caramelized nuts slowly unfold. Walnut remains the leader, followed by hazelnut, pecan, then coffee beans, and finally licorice and molasses.
The finish is just as roasted, and even marked by dusty charcoal oak.
