Description
This 19-year-old rum from Guyana is bottled by the Mezan brand.
From a batch of 3 barrels, this is number 001/003. It comes from the blend of molasses rums distilled in 2004 by Diamond Distillers Limited.
For the distillation, Diamond used very old stills including wooden ones like Enmore and Versailles.
Tropical aging for 3 years was carried out before the barrel was transferred to Europe. The rum spent a further 16 years in American ex-bourbon oak barrels before bottling in 2023.
This rum has not been cold-filtered, nor has any additives been added. This cask produced 300 numbered copies.
