Plantation Rum 1998 Jamaica is a single cask. The rum was then finished in Marsala casks.
Each bottle is numbered and the barrel number is indicated.
Tasting notes
Plantation Rum 1998 Jamaica Marsala cask finish has a coppery color.
On the nose, the rum is richly aromatic, with dried fruits such as dates, figs and almonds, enhanced by strong spices.
On the palate, it's sweet but also lively, opening with notes of flowers and vanilla, followed by sweet spices and salted butter caramel.
The finish is long and smooth, with exotic fruits. However, spices in the background provide an interesting contrast to the sweetness of this rum.
