Rum North Natural 60 is an agricultural rum produced on the island of Madeira. It is distilled at the Engenhos Do Norte distillery, owned by J. Faria & Filhos Lda.
Ce rhum est distillé à partir du pur jus de canne à sucre dans une colonne de 7,5 m en cuivre. Il est lentement réduit à 60° avant d’être embouteillé sous la marque Rum North, « Rhum du Nord ». Ce nom fait référence à la distillerie qui porte le nom Engenhos Do Norte, « Moulin du nord ».
The plots of sugar cane grown for this cuvée are located near the sea. They therefore benefit from intense climatic conditions.
