Rum North Natural 60 is an agricultural rum produced on the island of Madeira. It is distilled at the Engenhos Do Norte distillery, owned by J. Faria & Filhos Lda.
This rum is distilled from pure sugarcane juice in a 7.5-meter copper column still. It is slowly reduced to 60% ABV before being bottled under the Rum North brand. This name refers to the distillery, which is called Engenhos Do Norte, meaning "Mill of the North."
The plots of sugar cane grown for this cuvée are located near the sea. They therefore benefit from intense climatic conditions.
