Description
Ancon 10-year-old Panamanian rum is a sugarcane honey rum produced in Panama. This vintage takes its name from the American cargo ship "USS Ancon," the first ship to transit the Panama Canal in 1914, linking the Atlantic to the Pacific.
The rum is distilled from cane syrup (or cane honey) obtained from locally grown sugar cane. It is then aged for 10 years on site in oak barrels that have previously contained bourbon.
