Whistle Pig 10 Year Old is a straight rye whiskey produced in Canada. Dave Pickerell, the brand's founder, was previously a long-time master distiller and vice-president at Maker's Mark.
The whiskey is distilled exclusively from local rye, then initially aged on site in new American oak barrels. It is then transferred to the farm in Vermont, USA. The whiskey is aged for a total of 10 years before being bottled in small batches.
