Description
Woodford Reserve Bourbon is one of the most famous Kentucky Straight Bourbons, a classic that cannot be ignored. In cypress vats, the mashbill (composition) is as follows:
Corn is of course in the majority, at 72%, followed by rye (18%) and barley (10%). This resolutely balanced profile is also achieved by blending triple still distillates and eaux-de-vie from the column.
Aging takes place in highly burned barrels (level 4, "alligator") for at least 6 years.
