Vanua means "the land with which one identifies". This rum is therefore a molasses -based spirit made from sugarcane, perfectly representing the Fijian style.

Vanua rum is produced at Fiji's only remaining distillery. South Pacific Distillery produces traditional English rums from local molasses (Fiji is a major sugar producer).
