Coro Coro

The French company "Les Bienheureux", which notably imports, blends and bottles rums, has named its Guatemalan aged rum infused with cocoa beans "Coro Coro".
The Coro-coro rojo is the scarlet ibis of Gatemala, a long-beaked bird whose colonies, which can reach thousands of individuals, fly over the sugarcane plantations. Its vibrant red color is due to its diet (small mangrove crustaceans).

Les Bienheureux also owns the Guatemalan rum brand El Passador de Oro and the mixology rum Embargo, and markets Parati cachaça. Read less
