Spytail

Spytail is the name of a 19th-century French "Bathysphère" submarine, a submersible derived from the cloche. This balloon shape, reproduced here in the bottle design, recalls the adventures of Jules Verne, as well as the fact that the Charente was the first French submarine testing site.

Ce rhum épicé est une reproduction d’une recette de rhum au gingembre de la même époque. Le Spytail est donc un assemblage de rhums de Trinidad et du Guyana vieilli 5 ans. Il a été affiné en fût de cognac durant 3 à 6 mois. Dans le même temps, il a été infusé au gingembre frais et autres épices.
